To provide BAU support for MongoDB across Asia. The MongoDB DBA brings 5 plus years of experience in MongoDB installation Configuration and administration. Possess technical skills and experience in monitoring troubleshooting maintenance of MongoDB databases.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides day-to-day support including installation configuration troubleshooting performance tuning backup and recovery of Mongo database
Installation configuration and maintenance of MongoDB clusters on-premise and Atlas
Evaluate Plan and perform Mongo DB major/minor upgrades
MongoDB scaling across data centres and/or in - depth understanding of MongoDB including replica sets. Schema using Mongos.
Backup & Recovery Database optimization hardening and Security maintenance.
Backup and restore databases collections as needed between environments using mongo utilities
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in MongoDB and Database Administration
Must have worked on production support with hands on experience on standalone replication sharding clustering
Experience inupgradingdatabase versionsmigratingdata across multiple databases/Mongo Atlas and performedCRUDoperations.
Possess strong experience on query SQL tuning performance optimization and data realignments
Knowledge of managing a MongoDB cluster using Mongos OpsManager tool
Conduct root cause analysis & implement pro-active measures. Monitor effectiveness of implemented measures
Must be willing to work on rotational 24x7 Oncall support planned/adhoc weekend support/changes and flexible to meet current and future business needs
Good communication skills with Positive attitude problem solving skills multi-tasking and self-initiative qualities
