JOB SUMMARY:

The Lead Rep HR is responsible of the employee lifecycle throughout all levels of organization including developing and participating of the strategic and best place to work initiatives. Work according with compliance with legislative and company policies. Lead labor relations activities and Union negotiations. Act as credible business partner and provide guidance on Human Resources and organizational issues promote employee engagement through the corporate programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned:

  • Meet the role expectations aligned to the company culture of compliance and business ethics.

  • Comply and promote compliance of Baxters policies and code of conduct.

  • Implement Baxters code of conduct policies and procedures including but not limited to the Global interactions policy and Third-Party Policy.

  • Partner the talent acquisition lead where needed for recruitment selection procedures and hiring process and act as a key player in the onboarding and early engagement process. Also partner on employer branding to ensure Baxter Monterrey is a destination of choice. Follow the procedures to develop best place to work initiatives that drive employee motivation diversity high performer retention and positive work environment. Participate in labor relations activities and negotiations with Union; Build positive relationship with Union promoting positive interaction with associates. Work according with strategic Human Resource initiatives and meet the budget plans.

  • Follow HR programs and processes to enable ongoing strategic growth of the talent in the plant.

  • Ensure positive work environment through proactive communication program development and execution.

  • Help with the performance management system employee development and training need programs plans and controls. Responsible for planning implementation and compliance with the legislative and company rules concerning labor law safety environment and work conditions. Proactively partner with employees and associates to provide counsel on Human Resource and organizational issues.

  • Act as an ambassador of the employer branding with interns and Universities.

  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives including organizational events community events etc.

  • Participate in special projects such as driving a successful internship program.

  • Responsible for maintaining the correct Payroll process through the collaboration and coordination with the payroll team (Tijuana).

  • Responsible to follow up monthly meetings with employee committees including Training Social Responsibility and others. Develop & maintain HR metrics as needed and present findings on trends / risks. Support the Sr. Manager HR and plant leaders with interpretation of HR metrics to ensure best outcomes.

  • Work together with supervisors to follow up employees behaviors ensure they evaluate their personnel on time. Provide coaching and guidance to support development of people management skills.

  • Responsible of employee terminations when needed.

  • Continue to focus on own continuing professional development needs.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced English Level (C1 / C2)
  • Workday experience preferred any other HRIS is considered (Peoplesoft SAP Success Factors).
  • Knowledge of Mexican Federal Labor Law and Social Systems
  • Communication.

  • Dealing with ambiguity.

  • Enthusiasm to learn and improve continuously.

  • Bachelors degree in Organizational Development Labor Relations Business Administration or related field

  • Successful progression of Human Resources leadership with 8 years experience

  • Labor relations experience and Union negotiations

  • Previous Experience as HR Business Partner HR Specialist or Generalist.
