Full Job Description
We are seeking a Psychiatric Technician to join our Behavioral Health team at Bentworth High School and Middle School. This is a full-time opportunity providing direct support to students during their school day.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Social Work Education Psychology or related field (Masters level internship/practicum opportunities also available
- Child abuse clearance criminal background check and FBI clearances
Responsibilities:
- Provide mental health services including individual and group therapy sessions for students
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and treatment
- Collaborate with fellow psychiatric technicians and supervising physician to meet client needs
- Communicate effectively with school staff while advocating for students
- Connect students with resources to help them achieve personal goals
Additional Details:
- No nights weekends or on-call responsibilities
- Clinical supervision available for LCSW and LPC (no contract requirement)
