Title I ELA Interventionist Job Description
Position Overview: The Title I ELA Interventionist will provide targeted support to students struggling with english language arts through small group tutorials and one-on-one instruction. This role is essential for enhancing student understanding and performance in english ensuring that all students have the opportunity to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide small group and one-on-one ELA tutorials to students.
- Assess students english skills and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to students needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to align interventions with the curriculum.
- Monitor and track student progress adjusting instruction as necessary.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support at home.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance instructional practices.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of ELA:Strong understanding of math concepts and instructional strategies for various grade levels.
- Instructional Skills:Ability to design and implement effective lesson plans and interventions that meet diverse learning needs.
- Assessment Proficiency:Experience in using assessments to identify student needs and measure progress.
- Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students parents and staff.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education English or a related field.
