The Northern Land Council (NLC) is seeking an experienced and motivated Business & Communications Officer to join our Land and Sea Management group. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the Learning on Country Program (LoCP) supporting operations across multiple remote communities in the Northern Territory.
About the Role
Reporting to the Business Coordinator this role provides high-level administrative financial and business support to the LoC Program. You will be responsible for contract management procurement payments program reporting and compliance ensuring all operations align with organisational policies and funding requirements. The position also has a strong communications focus coordinating LoC Program social media platforms website content and communication strategies. You will manage the logistical arrangements for program promotional events workshops and meetings ensuring consistent and professional messaging and delivery across audiences. This is a diverse role that requires attention to detail a strong ability to prioritise and confidence working across multiple stakeholdersincluding schools ranger groups contractors and program partners.

You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong business communication and organisational skills. You can manage budgets and contracts coordinate projects and logistics and deliver accurate reports and professional communications to a wide audience.
