Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Mountain View CA Detroit MI or Washington D.C. three times per week at minimum.

The Role:

The Portfolio Lead is responsible for a defined portfolio of grants and partnerships directly accountable for shaping investment strategies that align with GMs philanthropic vision and enterprise goals. Operates with a high degree of autonomy to design implement and evaluate partnerships that advance community outcomes while strengthening GMs business and brand.

What Youll Do:

  • Design and execute strategies for a portfolio of philanthropic investments in STEAM Road Safety and/or Place-Based initiatives.
  • Build and manage relationships with nonprofit partners policymakers industry leaders and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure portfolio alignment with GMs enterprise priorities brand positioning and policy objectives.
  • Develop clear goals metrics and reporting frameworks to measure and communicate impact.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and thought leadership within and across portfolios.
  • Partner with internal teams including Policy Communications Brand and Engineering to amplify the reach and relevance of investments.
  • Stay informed on sector trends funding landscapes and best practices to continually strengthen GMs philanthropic approach.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • 7 years in philanthropy policy nonprofit management or leading complex initiatives or portfolios in any sector e.g. corporate tech consulting
  • Experience designing and managing complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Exceptional relationship management communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with STEAM Road Safety or related policy areas preferred.

Compensation:

  • The salary range for this role is $89700 $ actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
