Description

Entity: Oracle America Inc.

Job Duties: Deliver solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. Offer strategic technical support to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Create/utilize automated technology and instrumentation to diagnose document and resolve/avoid customer issues. Serve as an expert member of the technical problem solving/problem avoidance team routinely sought after to address extremely complex critical customer issues. May telecommute. (385.35129)

Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related technical field followed by 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Technical Analyst-related occupation. Position requires:

  • Troubleshooting issues related to application performance issues with connectivity/latency/functionality of the interfaces to internal and external IT system and functional issues of end user within a large Enterprise - level web application;
  • Investigating root cause analysis and providing recommendations for resolving issues;
  • End to end ownership of cross - team implementation of solutions through code and / or configuration changes while addressing customer experience considerations;
  • Attending end-users meetings to understand business requirements and develop design documents;
  • Design document develop test and implement complex software programs using Oracle databases (8i and R12) PL/SQL and Developer 2000;
  • Maintenance of legacy production Oracle Order Suite of applications and development and maintenance of necessary interfaces to store co-mingled legacy and EBS-entered data in Corporate Order Entries customer and order repositories;
  • Creating test data using SQL Script and Backend data using TOAD;
  • Preparing test plan test cases and test schedule and recording defects and analyzing test results;
  • Writing extensive test cases to cover all new enhancements;
  • Testing cases and documenting bugs into the Quality Center; and
  • Writing PL/SQL procedures packages triggers in oracle 9i/10g (Developer 10g/9i) as required.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $144976 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and/or equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
