It is a very exciting time to be joining the Faculty with an ambitious new faculty strategy soon to be launched and many faculty staff moving into the new Health Translation Hub building over the coming weeks.
Why this role matters
The Research Infrastructure Manager leads the Medicine & Health Research Infrastructure and Operational Services (MEDRIOS) Team within the Faculty of Medicine & Health overseeing and implementing efficient and effective delivery of day-to-day operations of high-quality biomedical research facilities scientific and other support services.
The Research Infrastructure Manager works closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives and implement initiatives ensuring the management of processes and delivery of operational services meet the facultys research outcomes and maintain the high standard research facilities.
The role reports to the Faculty Executive Director (FED) with a dotted reporting line to the M&H Deputy Dean Research (DDR). The role works closely with Heads of Schools Centres Institute and Business Partners from UNSW Divisions. The role has thirteen direct reports.
