Role description:
Arcadis is currently searching for a Technical Intern / Environmental Engineering Intern to join our team in Indianapolis IN in Summer 2026.
Our projects take us across North America and come in all shapes and sizes offering plenty of variety. When you come aboard get ready for a team-oriented environment where mentoring technical support and professional growth are top priorities. We believe in working together sharing knowledge and helping each other succeed.
This is a great opportunity for exposure to a wide variety of environmental remediation and restoration projects within the consulting environment with a focus on remediation projects and environmental compliance. This position requires a broad educational background with an emphasis on science and engineering principals and fundamentals.
The role sits within our global business area Resilience Environment. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources while powering our world for future generations.
Role accountabilities:
This is an internship opportunity for a dynamic student looking for career growth in environmental consulting. The Summer 2025 internship offers an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of environmental projects work with a great team and join a successful growing organization with a reputation for high quality work and top-notch employees. Opportunity for conversion to full time hire upon graduation.
A successful candidate:
The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills are also required and additional skills in AutoCAD GIS and programming are preferred.

Arcadis offers benefits for part-time as needed positions. These benefits include EAP 401K and optional wellbeing benefits. The salary range for this position is $17.00- $31.00/hour.
