Join Our Dynamic Team in Fresno California!
Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno California is seeking a Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to become part of their exceptional team as an Obstetrics Hospitalist. This direct-hire opportunity allows you to deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in a supportive Level 2 NICU hospital environment utilizing advanced EPIC electronic medical records and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide expert inpatient obstetrical care in a busy hospital with a Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- Care for approximately 13 to 14 patients daily in inpatient outpatient rounds and clinic settings.
- Work a schedule of five to six twenty-four-hour shifts per month from 7 AM to 7 AM.
- Manage weekend shifts on the same twenty-four-hour schedule as weekdays.
- Deliver an average of 4-5 deliveries per 24-hour period with the majority being vaginal deliveries (25% C-sections).
- Maintain documentation using EPIC electronic medical records.
- Participate in a collaborative hospital environment committed to high-quality obstetrical care.
- Adhere to facility requirements including mandatory COVID-19 vaccination.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Must have delivery experience.
- Preferred candidates will have 1 to 5 years of relevant practice experience.
- No fellowship completion required.
- Active California medical license or an active application in progress.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications.
- History of malpractice or licensing issues may be considered reviewed on an individual basis with limitations.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology Required.
- Active California license or application in progress Required.
- BLS ACLS and DEA certifications Required before starting.
- COVID-19 vaccination Required.
