Job Description

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join our clinic in Bellmead located just 15 minutes from Baylor University in Waco Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in a fast-paced walk-in clinic setting focused on treating minor injuries and illnesses with speed efficiency and compassion.
Our Bellmead location is a patient-focused modern facility designed for convenience. With short wait times evening and weekend hours and affordable access this clinic is meeting the urgent care needs of the Waco community like never before.
About the Role
As a Family Medicine Physician you will provide same-day treatment for minor illnesses and injuries in an outpatient setting. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes advanced practice providers medical assistants on-site lab/phlebotomy and X-ray technicians and pharmacy support.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide acute care services for minor illnesses and injuries on a walk-in basis
Deliver efficient evidence-based care with a focus on patient satisfaction
Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers
Coordinate with other providers in the system for referrals and follow-ups
Participate in shared call responsibilities triaged through a nurse line
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with clinical standards

Clinic & Schedule Highlights
Walk-in clinic open evenings and weekends
On-site X-ray phlebotomy and pharmacy
No obstetrics; general family medicine procedures only
Shared call coverage with nurse triage support
1.0 FTE with day of weekly administrative time

Compensation based on experience

Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Texas medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine
Open to new graduates and experienced physicians
