Job Description

Student Intramural Coordinator

Position Overview:Executive Board (E-Board) members represent Concordia University Intramurals and are responsible for planning promoting and actively engaging students of all backgrounds to participate in intramurals. Together we hold a commitment to think creatively strategically and collaboratively to offer a program of benefit to all involved.
As an E-Board member you will share in general responsibilities such as hosting events and enforcing policy but the following positions serve to create a well-rounded E-Board as well as meet individual interests and future career goals.

Essential Duties:
  • Assist with the game scheduling of regular season and championship week for all sports. Accurately document scores for all games. Outline championship week brackets based on regular season scoring.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment & if applicable suggest alternative equipment forms.
  • Design creative posters to promote the launch of new sports championship week etc.
  • Be involved in activity fairs on-campus to raise awareness for intramurals and engage students. Draft and send emails with pertinent information regarding CSP Intramurals.
  • Create surveys of various topics to understand student interest & provide better programs.
Additional Details:
  • Hours will vary depending on the month.
  • Estimated hour opportunity 8-10 hours/week.
  • Attend Intramural events that they are scheduled to referee such as one-day tournaments leagues competitions.
  • Attend weekly executive board meetings and pre/post competitions meetings to evaluate performance and gameplan operations.
  • Additional opportunities may be present such as: trainings meetings promotional events tabling events job fairs involvement fairs and other events promoting Intramurals.
