Job Summary
The Office Assistant will provide broad administrative support to the Accessible Education Services ( AES ) office with a primary focus on assisting the AES Testing and Program Coordinator. Key responsibilities include clerical tasks such as scheduling exams facilitated in the AES space data entry filing organizing materials and assisting test takers with basic assistive technology. The Office Assistant will also help maintain office operations by supporting general administrative projects responding to inquiries organizing resources and coordinating communication. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented organized and reliable student with strong communication and administrative skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong attention to detail organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively with some clerical experience such as data entry filing or scheduling. Able to maintain confidentiality when handling student information and responding to accommodation needs. Consistent availability during regular hours to meet student needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with assistive technologies such as screen readers or text-to-speech tools or a willingness to learn. Proficiency in creating or managing social media content using various design and content creation tools. Interest in accessibility and inclusivity with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
