Job Description
Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class AZ Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Guelph ON! This route runs fromGuelph ON to Debert NS and averages 2500 miles per week.
About the role:
- Drivers average $90-$120K per year
- $7500 sign-on-bonus available
- Bi-weekly home time
- Compensation includes hourly wages

Responsibilities
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Operates tractor trailer tanker units
- Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads from Safety-Kleen/Clean Harbor branches and customers and transports to our refinery centers
- Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
- Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
- Maintains daily logs time sheets expense reports dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
Qualifications
- Class AZ CDL required
- 12 months Class AZ experience
- 3 months Tanker experience
- TDG and Tanker endorsements
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
- Ability to work from heights
- Ability to drive a manual transmission (10 13 18 speed) required
- Valid Canadian Passport
- Valid Canadian Fastcard
- Must be willing to perform trips cross border to the US
- Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
