Job Description
MathInterventionist
TheMathInterventionistis responsible for supporting student achievement by providing direct small group instruction to students not yet meeting grade-level expectations inmath.
Duties:
Provide small group direct instruction to students identified as eligible for math intervention both within and outside the regular classroom setting
Assist with identifying students for placement in intervention groups
Collect data and progress monitor student growth
Maintain communication with classroom teachers regarding student needs intervention strategies utilized and student progress
Collaborate with the District Math Coach
Requirements:
MA Licensure in appropriate area preferred
Elementary math teaching experience preferred
Bachelors Degree
Collaboration and communication skills
Knowledge of basic learning and management strategies
Salary: $25/hour
