Waterville Elementary School is seeking a .45 FTE Library Media you enjoy working with children Have strong computer/internet skills Do you love to read and have a desire to share that passion with children If so please consider applying!Candidates who champion a growth mindset and promote a sense of inquiry for all students are greatly valued in our educational organization The selected candidate will possess an ability to ignite students interest in reading and be able engage students in meaningful learning opportunities through technology of the position include:- Working with students and teachers to demonstrate proficiency in the local curriculum as well as the Common Core Standards- Embracing team teaching/co-planning opportunities with classroom teachers to plan cross-curricular units and/or technology integration- Providing a full-service 21st century library media experience that incorporates both traditional print literacy and current technologies- Demonstrate expertise in utilizing technology to support instruction.- Have knowledge of and promote the PBIS Framework at each school-Familiar with Restorative Practices/Responsive Classroom techniques as well as trauma informed teaching skills- Possess outstanding organizational planning and collaboration skills- Have the capacity to effectively engage ALL students regardless of where they are on the continuum of learning- Effectively integrate technology and 21st century media skills into any learning environmentWES is a Professional Learning Community which demonstrates best practice in teaching and is committed to high levels of achievement and success for all students.
