Job Description

Overview:


Schedule: 40 hours/weekly during school year June/July off. Most be able to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.

Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection insurance eligibility driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.


Job Description Summary:


Coordinates and strengthens partnerships between Nationwide Childrens Hospital schools and community organizations to optimize student health outcomes and integrate healthcare services within the school setting.


Job Description:


Essential Functions:

  • Serves as a liaison between program staff school personnel families and community partners supporting effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Supports operational logistics to ensure effective implementation of school health services.
  • Collaborates to develop implement and evaluate patient outreach and follow-up promoting school health services and improving engagement.
  • Networks with local and regional external partners and coordinates events to promote school-based health services and expand community reach.
  • Partners with stakeholders to assess service gaps identify resources and implement solutions that improve access and outcomes.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • Masters Degree preferred.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Effective analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and interactive computer technologies.

Experience:

  • Five years of experience working with children of all ages required.
  • Experience in school settings and program development required.
  • Experience with healthcare systems or community/public health preferred.
  • Experience with innovating marketing and outreach strategies preferred.
