You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAre you a chemist looking for a job in an exciting academic environment We are looking for a dedicated chemist (R&D Engineer) with experience in ICP Techniques for our laboratory and we will train you to take part in radiochemical analysis for environmental radioactivity monitoring.
Radiochemical analysis plays important roles in many of the departments projects. Our researchers are dependent on our attention to quality in the chemical analytical process. You will be part of DTU Sustains Ris Laboratory a leading laboratory in Europe within environmental radioactivity and radiochemical analysis and the Danish national competence center in the field of environmental radioactivity measurement research and counselling.
The job
Your passion should be in the practical work including laboratory sample analysis for radioactivity determination maintaining relevant equipment for measuring radionuclides as well as research and development for radioanalytical methods. You will be daily responsible for securing effective implementation of environmental radioactivity monitoring projects.
Based on your competencies and experience you
Education and experience with radioanalytical chemistry
The ideal candidate has relevant education in chemistry or a masters degree or higher level and good hands-on skills in laboratory work within analytical chemistry or inorganic chemistry. It would be an advantage to have demonstrated experience with ICP techniques (ICP-MS ad ICP-OES) and laboratory experience in radiochemical analysis.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). The allowance will be agreed with the relevant union.
The position is full time. Starting date according to mutual agreement.
The working place will be at DTU Ris Campus.
