What You Will Do
As an Inside Sales Representative supporting our Fire Detection business you will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and enhancing the customer experience. You will support the external sales team through order management serve as a key liaison between sales customer service finance and other departments and ensure accurate and timely processing of customer requests. This position is part of one of the fastest-growing and highest-performing teams at Johnson Controls contributing directly to our continued sales success.
How You Will Do It
Manage and process customer orders in coordination with the external sales team.
Serve as a central point of contact between sales customer service and finance to ensure smooth communication and resolution of issues.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales data using CRM and ERP systems including SAP.
Prepare and follow up on customer quotations and proposals.
Respond to incoming inquiries and ensure timely follow-up on quotes and order status.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally to address customer needs and resolve challenges efficiently.
Utilize SAP to manage order entry pricing availability and billing processes.
What We Look For
Bachelors degree or a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales support customer service or inside sales.
Proven experience working with SAP for order management and sales operations.
Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
Ability to build trust and communicate effectively across teams and with customers.
Proficiency in CRM systems and a strong aptitude for learning new software tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $60000 - $81000 (Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual group and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
