The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Pediatrics is seeking an outstanding pediatric hepatologist to join the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition at UT Southwestern and Childrens Health Dallas. Our Hepatology team currently consists of 6 CAQ Hepatologists and is supported by a dedicated inpatient team of APPs offering 24/7/365 coverage for our pediatric patients. Liver transplant volume is expected to range from 15-20 transplants in 2025. The team benefits from close relationships with in-house Pediatric ERCP and EUS experts as well as Interventional Radiology and other supporting specialties.
The physician in this position is expected to care for patients with a wide range of liver disorders including pre and post-liver transplant patients. Excellence in the teaching of medical students residents and fellows along with a desire to become a leader in the field is expected.
Applicants must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas and be board-eligible or certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology as well as Hepatology.
