The ServiceNow Lead Developer will be a part of transformative team that is focused on optimizing the teammate support experience at Truist. This lead will collaborate with analysts and product owners to design and implement solutions that meet the business need optimizes product capabilities and deliver a frictionless support experiences for our teammates. This teammate will bring significant experience across multiple ServiceNow modules but with specific depth in the implementation and optimization of Employee Center Pro ITSM WSD and mobile implementation. This experienced developer will have extensive experience with implementing ServiceNow spokes and custom integrations with HR and endpoint management applications. They will be responsible for high-quality scalable and reusable solutions while ensuring best practice in coding standards integration extensibility and security.

Day-to-day will involve review development testing defect remediation and implementation of application specific development requests. You will partner with platform architecture product owners and business partners for technical designs and technical implementation to ensure use cases are met in the most effective manner for the underlying ServiceNow platform. You will create a collaborative development team environment and guide junior team members. Provide request review and feedback to product owners including estimated work effort dependencies and sustainability during prioritization meetings aligning to Truists mission and goals.

This position will be office-centric 4 days a week in one of the listed Truist hubs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications

Degree and six to ten years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience

Preferred Qualifications
1. ServiceNow certifications of CAD CIS CTA and ITIL.
2. Banking or financial services experience.
3. While foundational knowledge of ITSM is required preferred candidates should have extensive experience in Employee Center Pro and Mobile implementations with some additional experience in HRSD SPM and Demand modules.
4. Hands-on experience with ServiceNows Integration Hub and sophisticated use of REST/SOAP APIs.
5. Strong experience creating Dashboards/Reports - Performance/Platform Analytics.
6. Strong understanding and demonstration of human centered design principles for optimizing end user experience.
7. Strong communication skills in presenting solution designs that clearly translating business requirements. Proficient in authoring editing and presenting technical documents.
8. Experience with developing and defining development principles and guidelines to ensure quality delivery.
