Job Description

Position Summary
This position supports the Office of Student Affairs by assisting with planning and implementation of seven signature events and a host of smaller departmental events assisting with campus communications general office management responsibilities including scheduling support project management and oversight of the OSA budget. Coordinates and administers student support to enrolled and prospective students Including but not limited to greeting students scheduling appointments directing students to appropriate advisors and staff and serving as a first point of triage for students needing immediate support. Maintains student records on database creates and provides reports. Provides contact point for enrolled and prospective student information. Attends and participates in staff meetings professional development seminars and other student support related meetings. Assists in providing cross training to program staff as required. Liaison with student organizations.

Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
This position requires strong oral and written communication skills; the ability to work with diverse populations; competence in technology and computer skills; and the ability to collect and analyze data using the results to implement future programs plans and strategies.

Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
* Relevant experience in student support services on a college/university level. * Outstanding interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build and sustain productive working relationships across various populations. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences in a succinct and professional manner. * Ability to think critically to solve problems and develop workflows in a well-informed manner. * Accuracy and attention to details. * Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and also as part of a team contributing to program efforts. * Ability to prioritize multi-task manage competing obligations and/or deadlines in an often-changing environment. * Experience with design and administration of surveys. * Working knowledge of MS Word Excel and Outlook and Qualtrics.

Work Schedule
8am-5pm Monday-Friday
