Mobius is seeking a Junior Data Support Specialist to support the National Reconnaissance Offices (NRO) Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED) Integrated System Program Office (ISPO) delivering Overhead Persistent Infra-Red (OPIR) mission management tasking collection processing & dissemination as well as integration with DoD Space Based Infra-Red System (SBIRS).

The Junior Data Support Specialist is a critical role responsible for managing and overseeing data strategies data provenance and the optimization of data flow across internal and external systems. This position focuses on ensuring the accuracy consistency and strategic management of data to support organizational objectives effectively. The specialist will work closely with internal teams external stakeholders and system architects to ensure seamless data integration and alignment with future data strategies.

This position is ideal for data professionals who are passionate about leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and system optimization. The Junior Data Support Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring that data is efficiently managed and utilized to meet both current and future organizational needs.

The position is in the National Capitol Region.

Duties of a Junior Data Support Specialist may include:

  • Data Management:Ensure the optimization of data flow across systems both internally and externally by managing and overseeing data strategies and provenance.
  • Data Strategy Development:Contribute to the development and execution of data strategies that align with organizational goals and future system architectures.
  • Data Provenance:Maintain oversight of data lineage to ensure the integrity accuracy and traceability of data across components and systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:Collaborate with internal teams external users and system architects to address data-related challenges and opportunities.
  • Data Analysis and Recommendations:Analyze data workflows identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve data management processes.
  • System Integration:Coordinate with system engineers and developers to ensure data systems are appropriately integrated and aligned with operational goals.
  • Compliance and Security:Ensure that all data management activities adhere to organizational policies and applicable security standards.
  • Innovation:Stay informed on emerging trends in data science and management to recommend innovative solutions and tools for better data handling.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with data lineage data strategies and optimization processes.
  • Experience with data governance and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and platforms.
  • Understanding of data science concepts and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of system integration processes and technologies.
  • Familiarity with data security and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience working in government or intelligence community agencies.
  • Familiarity with IC tools processes and data systems.
  • Knowledge of advanced data science techniques and tools.
  • Domain Expertise: GEOINT SIGNINT or Intelligence Integration

Education

  • 0-5 years with Bachelors in Science Technical Engineering or Math discipline

Clearance

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
