Project Accountant Full-Time Onsite in Duluth GA
Construction Industry
$90000$115000/year Discretionary Bonus
Were hiring aProject Accountantto join our onsite finance team inDuluth GA! If youre detail-oriented thrive in fast-paced environments and have experience withpercentage of completion (POC) accountingin theconstruction industry we want to hear from you.
What Youll Do:
- ManagePOC accountingacross 200 construction projects annually.
- Lead monthly revenue recognition backlog measurement and gain/loss analysis.
- Work closely with project managers and leadership to finalize monthly schedules.
- Handleincentive payout tracking(e.g. $9.8M in Q2) and special projects.
- Prepare summary schedules obtain approvals and build supporting documentation.
- Utilizeadvanced ExcelandMicrosoft Dynamics 365(or similar) for reporting and data validation.
What Youll Bring:
35 years ofPercentage of Completion accountingexperience
AdvancedExcelskills (formulas reporting not just pivot tables)
Experience withconstruction accounting systems(Dynamics 365 Sage Timberline etc.)
Prior experience inconstruction(no single-family homebuilders please)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage HIGH volumes of data
Nice to Have:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Experience withincentive/bonus payout calculations
- Background inmulti-family or commercial construction
