o Bachelors degree in public administration business pre-law political science liberal arts or human services related field.
o Five years related management experience in administration or program management.
o Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Preferred:
o Masters degree
o Child Support program experience.

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Child Support Services Division.
The CSSD Regional Manager supervises and manages all child support functions within the designated region ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while meeting collection and performance goals. It involves interpreting laws and policies authorizing expenditures managing case closures and coordinating with courts and external agencies to resolve issues. The role includes direct supervision of staff conducting training and participating in audits and legal proceedings. Additionally it requires strategic planning data analysis and procedural oversight to maintain program efficiency and accountability.
