Were looking for a dedicated Criminal Investigator to join our team within the Evidence Control Unit who is ready to protect and serve with courage and this role youll provide the full range of police services regarding evidence chain of custody documentation evidence transfer & coordination evidence disposal operational support compliance & accreditation and system oversight. Two years of experience in law enforcement investigatory work or military intelligence work; OR
Twelve hours in law enforcement or a criminal justice field.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Possession of a current Louisiana drivers license.
Willingness and ability to attain a Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification.
An applicant will be disqualified if he or she has been convicted of a felony or if there are any indictments or bills of information pending against him or her in which felony charges are included; or if he or she has been convicted within the past three years of hit and run or driving while intoxicated.

As a Criminal Investigator you will assist with the execution of all operational and administrative matters pertaining to the efficient administration of the departments evidence control this role you will:
