Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Paraplanner to join our team in Sydney. As a Paraplanner you will play a key role in supporting our financial advisors in the delivery of financial planning services to our clients. You will be responsible for preparing and implementing financial plans conducting research and providing technical support to our advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement financial plans for clients including investment retirement and insurance strategies
- Conduct research and analysis to support financial recommendations and strategies
- Prepare financial reports and projections for clients
- Monitor and review client portfolios to ensure they are aligned with their financial goals
- Provide technical support to financial advisors in the areas of superannuation taxation and estate planning
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and changes in regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring their needs and expectations are met
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures within the paraplanning team
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a paraplanning role within the financial services industry
- Australia Financial Planning Qualification
- Strong knowledge of financial planning principles and strategies
- Proficient in using financial planning software and tools
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Professional and ethical approach to work
