The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to become part of a stable well-coordinated care environment for a long-term client with high physical support needs and a supportive family.
As a support worker with Montessori Care youll play a vital role in delivering high-quality in-home support to a NDIS participant with high physical care needs. This role involves a combination of personal care emotional support and domestic assistance with a focus on maintaining the dignity safety and wellbeing of the client.
This is a high-needs role supporting an individual with complex neurological and physical disabilities. The participant is non-verbal and requires full assistance with daily living as well as skilled behaviour support.
What Were Looking For:
- Female support worker (client preference) with at least 2 years of experience in disability or behavioural support
- Experience with clients with Cerebral Palsy and Global Developmental Delay is highly regarded
- Experience in PEG feeding medicinal administration wheelchair bound and non-verbal clients is essential
- Ability to support client in swimming and showering is a plus!
- Must have NSW Drivers Licence and own vehicle with insurance
- Essential checks: NDIS Worker Screening WWCC Police Check First Aid & CPR
- Manual Handling and Behaviour Support training highly regarded
