As the Market Director of Catering Sales you will lead the catering sales effort across multiple properties driving top-line revenue building strong client relationships and collaborating with operations and sales teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
What Youll Do
Direct catering sales to exceed budget expectations in alignment with annual business and asset maximization plans.
Build rapport with clients qualify needs and sell the appropriate property to meet their requirements.
Book business in the Sales and Catering systems prepare contracts and maintain accurate client files and correspondence.
Partner with operations and event management to ensure seamless execution of events.
Participate in daily business review meetings pre-convention meetings training and other sales-related meetings.
Attend trade shows community events and industry meetings to promote the hotels and generate leads.
Monitor market trends competition and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
What Youll Bring
Bachelors degree in Business Hospitality or a related field; or equivalent hotel experience.
At least one year of sales experience preferably in catering or group sales.
Mastery of both proactive and reactive sales processes including qualifying leads closing business and growing current accounts.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with a professional demeanor.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Positive attitude with a guest-focused mindset.
