Position Summary:
Acts as the primary authority on Workday configuration and business processes; combining expert-level proficiency in Workday with the ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with various stakeholder groups to turn complex requirements into tangible deliverables. Supports and drives the adoption of new functionality investment and enhancements into Workday while partnering in developing new integrated technologies where required.
Essential Functions:
Serves as a liaison between external support resources (Workday AMS etc.)
Collaborates with other IT/business stakeholders and owns the technical development and support activities configured in Workday.
Continuously researches new capability areas within Workday works with functional SMEs to vet against current business gaps and how the gaps can be remediated
Advises on Workday technical system activities - business process configuration; security fundamentals calculated fields report writer integrations EIBs etc.
Consults and partners with stakeholders to confirm requirements identify gaps and risks suggest alternatives advise on best practices facilitate discussions and ultimately drive requirements to sign-off.
Prototypes and advises on scalable flexible solutions that are extensible to future business needs in all areas of Workday
Plans leads and facilitates Release Management across HR functions for appropriate prioritization of Workday enhancements
Leads the semi-annual Workday release review and implementation
Supports the implementation and maintenance of robust security protocols within the Workday environment
Ensures compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies
Translates customer business requirements into solutions while working with the HRIS team to finalize design and implementation plan
Provides functional oversight to ensure there is a consistent approach across each functional workstream and to facilitate activities in an organized approach to ensure enhancements arent compromising other parts of Workday or downstream applications receiving information from Workday
Attends Workday conferences/networking opportunities representing the critical business needs of the company
Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to think outside of the box to develop solution to complex requirements
Ability to scale to the work as required; supporting project evaluations one day and deep diving into a break/fix the next
Ability to lead and influence without authority
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently prioritize projects and embrace new challenges.
Proven customer service organizational and team collaboration skills
Strong technology aptitude and business acumen
Equipment / Tools / Technology:
HRIS HCM/Payroll and other HR-related software applications
Google G-Suite
Knowledge of spreadsheet word processing presentation email internet
