Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and technically skilled Hardware Tester to join our quality assurance team. The Hardware Tester will be responsible for evaluating testing and validating computer hardware and electronic devices to ensure they meet company and industry standards. This role is critical in identifying product defects and ensuring optimal performance reliability and compliance of our hardware products before they reach the market.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct rigorous testing of hardware components including but not limited to motherboards processors memory modules storage devices and peripheral equipment.

Develop and execute test cases and procedures based on product specifications and quality standards.

Document and report defects malfunctions or inconsistencies providing detailed technical feedback to engineering and development teams.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering production and quality assurance) to resolve hardware issues and improve product design.

Utilize diagnostic tools and software for performance benchmarking and troubleshooting.

Maintain accurate testing records and prepare comprehensive test reports.

Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Recommend improvements to testing procedures and protocols.

Stay updated on the latest hardware trends testing methodologies and industry standards.

Qualifications

Associates or Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Information Technology or related field preferred.

Proven experience in hardware testing quality assurance or a similar technical role.

Solid understanding of computer hardware architecture and electronic circuits.

Proficiency with diagnostic and testing equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes multimeters logic analyzers).

Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Detail-oriented organized and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Hourly Pay Rate

$60 $80 per hour (commensurate with experience education and technical proficiency).
