Embedded Hardware Engineering Co-Op

Help X-ES maintain its core strength of engineering excellence. Gain hands-on experience working with advanced technologies while making direct contributions to product development. Embedded Hardware Engineering Co-Ops assist design engineers in all aspects of board-level design including HDL development signal integrity simulations schematic capture troubleshooting of rugged embedded hardware and manufacturing support.

This position is full-time and in-person at our Verona WI facility for facility for a Spring/Summer 2026 co-op (January-August 2026) or a Summer/Fall 2026 co-op (May-December 2026). This typically requires students to take a semester off of school to accommodate.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or a related field
• Familiarity with printed circuit board design is preferred
• Experience with embedded systems C programming or digital logic is a plus
• Ability to creatively troubleshoot and solve electronic design problems
• Self-motivated and capable of meeting project deadlines with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and ability to communicate with software and embedded design engineers
