A national law firm with a strong insurance defense practice is seeking an experienced Bad Faith Litigation Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of litigation experience with a background in insurance defense or coverage matters strongly preferred. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while handling complex and high-value cases for leading insurance carriers.
Responsibilities
- Defend insurers in bad faith and coverage litigation matters
- Draft and argue motions pleadings and briefs in state and federal courts
- Manage discovery including depositions and expert preparation
- Develop litigation strategy in alignment with client goals
- Represent clients in hearings mediations and trials as needed
- Maintain strong client communication and deliver timely case updates
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience; insurance defense or coverage experience preferred
- Exceptional research writing and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently in a remote environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Location
- This position is fully remote. Some travel may be required for depositions hearings or trials.
