Job Description
IT Infrastructure Solution Architect
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
IT Infrastructure Solutions
- Define Complete scalable robust consistent IT Infrastructure architecture at the right TCO and minimize the cost of change.
- Responsible for defining IT Infrastructure solutions in line with the business architecture of the functional domains.
- Identify and deliver the functional and non-functional requirements related to the business ambitions.
- Align beyond road IT Infrastructure strategy with group IT strategy
- Provide holistic solutions by looking at the projects portfolio roadmap of the Beyond Road business line
- Keep an eye out for the IS / IT Solutions offered by the market and the prescriptions of other technical teams within the Michelin group
- Define and align to the principles standards best practices and architecture guidelines (Data Integration BI Infrastructure Security)
- Participate in the validation of the solutions architecture and development
Manage Performance & Continues Improvements
- Implement good engineering practices and improvements in IT Infrastructure projects
- Reflects continuously on how to become more efficient then develops and adjusts the teams standards
- Participate actively in Process Feedback and Process Improvement
- Support new process implementation and sustainability
Team and People Management
- Developing people (direct or indirect line management) on a continuous basis considering the needs of the organization and the aspirations of the people
- Creates an environment conducive to team self-organization and autonomy
- Coach and mentor team members to improve technical skills troubleshooting skills and process adherence.
Business Advising
- Understand business operations challenges and evolving opportunities to effectively advise business partners and anticipate their needs
- The provision of the essential elements for choosing and planning IT projects especially for application or technological obsolescence management.
- Have a deep understanding of the organization processes and high-level IT systems/solutions to ensure visibility on IT project interdependencies and cross-functional impacts
- Represent the BU/Functions needs and interests in the solution design delivery and run and maintain stages
- Support business partners in identifying IT solution opportunities with the collaboration of the architecture team and IT Experts
EXTERNAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized university/institute;
- Masters Degree in a relevant field would be an asset;
- Cisco Certified Network Professional ( CCNP) with 10 year experince in configuring desinging and troubleshoot enterprise network
- Exposure to SAP/ Salesforce/ BI and Other Business Applications will be an added advantage
- Self-motivated committed and a good team player
- Excellent English communication skills
- Customer-centric service mindset
- A passion for learning and a deep understanding of the infrastructure technology stack
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changes
- Passion for solving problems
- Collaboration mindset with business and different IT counterparts in the group
