Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Tailor will be responsible for leading and executing brand initiatives for the Levis Tailor addition the Tailor will be responsible but not limited to the following:
-Execute craftsmanship strategy in partnership with Store Manager and Levis home office partners.
- Execute basic alteration services (i.e. Hemming patch and repair tapering etc.)
- Execute and train usage of the chainstitch embroidery machine.
- Exemplify and possess strong customer service skills to elevate our client experience.
- Demonstrate the ability to articulate and carry out all services of the Tailor Shop.
- Educate and train store teams on customer offerings and services.
- Effectively communicate and present Levis Tailor Shop business results.
Experience/Qualifications
Formal Training in apparel design.
Minimum of2 years of sewing/tailoring experience and a strong knowledge of jean construction.
Thorough knowledge of machines used in the sewing of denim products.
Strong technical chainstitch embroidery knowledge.
