JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree from an accredited school or institution OR a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of GD&T and ability to read CMM reports.
1 year of experience using precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers microscopes Keyence).
Experience using Microsoft Excel to track data.
1 year of experience reading simple blueprints.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic (e.g. addition subtraction of decimals and fractions).
Knowledge of manufacturing and product safety.
Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques (e.g. 5 Whys Fishbone APPS Kata PSR RCCA).
Previous aerospace product experience in design or manufacturing.
Ability to make data-driven decisions and utilize Six Sigma and Lean tools.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and achieve successful results.
Knowledge of ISO/quality procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Own both quality assurance and quality control of manufactured components.
Resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent and by Process & Quality Engineers.
Become PR certified and disposition nonconforming hardware.
Interpret engineering blueprints/specifications and accurately submit MRB tickets to Design Engineering.
Assist in training proper NC (non-conforming) documentation on the shop floor.
Communicate effectively with hourly employees peers Quality Engineers Process Engineers and supervisors.
Assist production employees in resolving manufacturing process problems by driving root cause analysis and implementing permanent corrective actions.
Support the shop floor to deliver business results while encouraging input from area personnel within a self-directed workforce (Teaming) environment.
Promote internal and external customer satisfaction and develop positive relationships with Design Engineering.
Pursue continuous improvement for quality and cost reductions in designated areas.
Act as a change agent understanding and moving the operation toward benchmarked best-in-class performance.
Implement maintain and continuously improve 5S methodology and other Lean principles in assigned areas.
Support all elements of the quality program and drive overall quality in all aspects of manufacturing.
Train and mentor new team members.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
