Job Description
Were looking for an Infra Data Engineering Program Manager to join our Infrastructure domain a unique hybrid role that blends program management with hands-on data engineering expertise.
On one hand youll connect strategy with execution: tracking progress aligning teams and ensuring delivery stays on course. On the other youll contribute your technical skills: helping design sustainable pipelines scalable data models and automation that free up time for higher-value work.
Youll be part of the Insight & Analytics team a newly formed group focused on building data models dashboards and automation to make ING smarter and more efficient. Youll also support the InfraPort API team the backbone of INGs infrastructure data delivering robust APIs that unlock data for internal customers.
The team
Were building the future of INGs cloud infrastructure. The InfraPort API is the central nervous system of our infrastructure ecosystem delivering critical data and insights to teams across the bank. Established just a year ago our team is small agile and packed with expertise which means youll have real influence from day one.
And were not stopping there. Weve just kicked off an ambitious new project: a Data Management Tool that will automate and streamline ETL processes ensure robust data governance and open the door to advanced capabilities like LLM-powered data handling. This is a rare chance to design and build a product from scratch inside a global organization.
Roles and responsibilities
Keep our data engineering initiatives moving forward and delivering value coordinating teams monitoring progress and contributing to technical solutions. Youll ensure the Insight & Analytics and InfraPort API teams deliver scalable pipelines reusable data models and automation that empower teams across ING.
What Youll Do
Across Both Teams
Track and monitor project progress to ensure milestones are achieved.
Oversee incident management ensuring quick and coordinated resolution.
Help our customers onboarding to our new authentication process.
For the Insight & Analytics Team
Support the creation of scalable reusable data models for multiple teams.
Develop dashboards that provide actionable insights for smarter decisions.
Coordinate and contribute to automation solutions that reduce manual work.

Experience working in the field of Incident Management in the context of ING.
Have experience building dashboards (e.g. Grafana Power BI)
Have affinity with IPC service offerings.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent team player in an international team quality focused service oriented eager to learn.
