Job Description

This job description does not constitute an employment agreement between the employer and employee and is subject to change by the employer as the needs of the employer and the requirements of the job Responsibilities:Handles yearly audition processCreates performance and behavior expectations for the for marching band camp the week before school starts or as scheduled by the band for all football games parades and other public events scheduled for the marching band and color guard programs that effectively complements and enhances the visual and musical all rehearsals and performances instructs members in fundamental and advanced dance and flag the color guard rehearsal schedule with the full Marching rehearsal plans in cooperation with the Marching Band and conduct extra rehearsals for the unit in addition to the scheduled marching band rehearsals as the highest possible level of performance from the color guard members through a proper warm-up process effective preparation and attention to individual potential color guard members while retaining current that the color guard is properly equipped for rehearsals and reasonable duties as assigned to assist the Band Director to prepare students for football games parades and other public equipment supplies and uniforms as needed to keep the team running all equipment and uniforms necessary for rehearsals and performances including maintenance repair and acquisition fundraising for the colorguard and/or participate in fundraisers arranged by the band director.
