Type of employment: 18-month temporary position
What youll do
As a Training Specialist you will evaluate the training needs for operational business support the design of a new engaging and blended learning experience lead instructional design for both new and existing curriculums and develop a learning experience to meet the organizations online learning standards.
The Training Specialist works in close collaboration with the Quality Control Analysts Business Analysts Technical Writers and Operational Specialists to ensure Quality training (curriculum is updated with the most recent operating procedures business processes and product details).
Key responsibilities
Qualifications
Education: Post-Secondary degree in educational technology and curriculum
Experience: 3-5 years equivalent experience curriculum design and development
Solid understanding of insurance industry and/or knowledge of Medavie business processes would be considered a strong asset.
Knowledge and skills:
Language:Bilingualism in both official languages is a requirement for this position
