What Youll Do
- Manage a technical team of Engineers and matrixed Information Technology developers to design implement and continually improve manufacturing-related systems that span across functional organizations
- Prepare project plans and identify appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team
- Ensures projects are completed on schedule within budget and meet technical and scope requirements of the assignment
- Keep current on advances in the field of information technology particularly with respect to Smart Factory Smart Electronic Procedures Production Planning Material Control and Manufacturing Execution Systems
- Provide strategic vision as well as technical and analytical guidance to project team
- Interface with diverse stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
- Adhere to all information technology governance policies and procedures particularly with respect to Software Quality Assurance

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience minimum 5 years of relevant supervisory/ management experience
Preferred Job Requirements
- In-depth experience with SAP Production-related functions such as Manufacturing Execution (ME) Production Planning (PP) Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (MII) and Quality Management (QM)
- Experience with the diverse body of Y-12 manufacturing and quality activities including weapons production/dismantlement nuclear material supply and salvage/recovery
- Experience with data virtualization and visualization tools
- Experience with NextAxiom Dynamic Work Execution Platform (DWEP) for use in automated forms and procedures
- Experience with Y-12 Nuclear Material Control and Accountability business processes and systems
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification encouraged
