Job Summary:
Bureau Veritas Philippines is seeking a results-drivenBusiness Analystwith strong expertise incost control costing methodologies and profitability analysis. This role will support strategic decision-making by providing actionable insights into financial performance operational efficiency and cost optimization across business units.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Control & Analysis
Monitor and analyze operational and project costs to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions to improve financial performance.
Develop and maintain cost models for various service lines (e.g. testing inspection certification).
Profitability & Financial Insights
Conduct profitability analysis by service client and region to support pricing strategies and business development.
Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate the financial impact of new initiatives or service offerings.
Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports with variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
Support scenario planning and financial modeling to guide strategic planning.
Process Improvement
Partner with operations and finance teams to streamline reporting processes and improve data accuracy.
Implement tools and dashboards for real-time financial monitoring and decision support.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis cost control or financial planningpreferably in a service-oriented or multinational environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in financial modeling Excel and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in the TIC (Testing Inspection Certification) industry is a plus.
