Brand Strategy & Communication
- Contribute to the definition and execution of the brand strategy in line with overall business objectives.
- Initiate and lead the annual brand marketing review and planning cycle clearly outlining marketing objectives aligned with the brand vision.
- Define the brand communication strategy and select the most efficient media mix in collaboration with the Category Marketing Manager.
- Prepare detailed agency briefs and evaluate creative proposals for alignment with brand strategy and positioning.
- Lead the development of advertising materials providing input at each stage prior to final approval by the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
- Identify and leverage sponsorship platforms and relevant external events to enhance brand equity and health indicators.
- Monitor brand-related platforms including competitive brand activities to ensure differentiation and relevance.
- Propose and test advertising strategy changes to optimize consumer connection and market impact.
Trade Marketing & Promotion Execution
- Collaborate with the Trade Marketing team to ensure brand-consistent deployment across all outlet categories.
- Propose and execute promotional plans and schemes in line with brand objectives and Trade Marketing alignment.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all promotional activities recommending modifications and producing post-promotion reports with actionable insights.
- Provide marketing input into volume forecasting factoring in all promotional and positioning strategies.
- Monitor trade margins and pricing of competitive brands and propose tactical responses.
Performance Monitoring & Budget Management
- Prepare and manage the annual advertising budget for assigned brands ensuring alignment with approved marketing plans.
- Monitor budget utilization and conduct regular budget control reviews to prevent overspending.
- Track brand profitability identify deviations from forecasts due to volume or cost changes and escalate concerns promptly.
- Support the development of the annual media brief and guide budget allocation across channels.
- Oversee and ensure quality and visibility of all brand-related outdoor hoardings and posters.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights
- Conduct continuous monitoring of competitive strategies communication platforms and industry trends to ensure brand positioning remains relevant.
- Gather and analyze brand health data retail audit reports and market trends to guide decision-making and planning.
Prepare comprehensive reports on brand activities competitive insights and key performance indicators for senior leadership.
Key Requirement:
Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing or related discipline; an MBA is an added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in Brand Marketing preferably in leading pharmaceutical companies (Reckitt Benckiser experience is a plus).
- Brand & Campaign Management: Strong understanding of advertising strategy brand development and ATL/BTL execution.
- Creative Thinking: Innovative mindset with the ability to develop impactful campaigns.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability in market and competitor analysis brand health monitoring and data interpretation.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and collaborative approach.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple brand initiatives and campaigns with strong execution discipline.
- Digital & Media Savvy: Familiarity with modern design digital marketing tools and trends in creative production.
- Agency & Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated experience working with external agencies and cross-functional teams.
Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively for brand-related activities.
