Job Summary
We are looking for someone to strengthen our dynamic team within our Compaktuna based at our location in Zwijnaarde. As a Team Supervisor Production you will play a key role in achieving our sustainability and innovation goals while leveraging your expertise to realize ambitious projects. As a Team Supervisor Production you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency quality and safety of our production activities. You will be responsible for leading a team of operators on the production floor making sure that processes run smoothly deadlines are met and standards are respected. Beyond day-to-day operations you will act as the bridge between the workforce and management helping to build a strong team culture where people feel supported motivated and engaged.
Your responsibilities
Lead coach and coordinate a team of production workers to achieve daily goals
Plan and assign tasks monitor workflow and ensure resources are used efficiently
Supervise production processes guaranteeing compliance with safety quality and performance standards
Track and report on output while proposing and implementing improvements
Conduct regular safety and quality checks ensuring corrective actions when necessary
Onboard and train new team members providing guidance and feedback to support their development
Collaborate closely with Quality Maintenance Planning and Engineering teams to address challenges and optimize production
Promote a continuous improvement culture encouraging team members to share ideas and contribute to process enhancements
Your profile
Minimum 13 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role
Strong leadership and people management skills: you know how to motivate guide and inspire your team
Solid understanding of safety regulations and quality control practices in an industrial setting
Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working under pressure while keeping attention to detail
Education: High school diploma required; technical training or leadership certification is an asset
Proficiency with basic IT tools (MS Office)
