About the Position Position/Specialty: IR Tech Shift: 8a-4:30p Monday through Friday On-call REQ: yes weekly rotation Monday - Monday. Weekend REQ: just for call Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities (Y/N): No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: minimum of 1 year First-timers accepted: Yes National Certs REQ: BLS ARRT(R) preferred IR certified Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Special Requirements: must have IR experience Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule (Y/N): Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on units needs Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: Locals Accepted: Yes on a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital Scrub Color: Provided by the facility Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Downtown parking lots require a parking pass which we distribute at badge pickup. There is no fee to park. Parking lots and garages available. Garages clearance is only for average SUV truck. Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
