- Previous work experience in government insurance accounting or case management systems a plus.

Duration of the Contract: 6/30/2026 with potential for extension
Onsite or Remote: Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents. No relocation is allowed. DWD is currently allowing remote work from within the state of Wisconsin. The contractor must be available online be present to meet all workload requirements and must attend all scheduled meetings during DWD standard working hours of 7.45 am 4.30 pm Central Time. DWD can make changes or modifications to this arrangement with a reasonable advance notice.
NOTE: DWD prefers that the selected hire resides in the greater Madison area. The contractor must be available to work onsite in DWD Madison WI headquarters GEF-1 location at DWDs request including consecutive weekdays or extended periods without reimbursement for travel lodging or parking expenses.

Brief Project Description
This is a position needed for the development and support of critical priority applications in the Divisions
of Unemployment Insurance. Project work will include: application design and development new
development and modifications to existing code. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success
in designing creating and maintaining web services system integration web development and Agile
Scrum development methodology. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis.
Certified Web Developer IV capabilities with 6 or more years of experience core
relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals independently performs a variety of
complicated tasks a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
