Title: CT Technologist (CT Tech)

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing CT imaging studies in both adult and pediatric populations in inpatient outpatient and emergency settings. Strong knowledge of radiation safety contrast media preparation/administration and advanced CT techniques is required.
This position offers diverse clinical exposure including trauma special procedures and cardiac imaging.
Responsibilities:Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures including head neck chest abdomen pelvis spine musculoskeletal and vascular studies.
Conduct advanced CT applications such as 3D rendering multiplanar reconstructions and ROI measurements.
Assist with interventional and special procedures (biopsies aspirations myelography drainage).
Operate Siemens CT equipment ensuring high-quality images and accurate results.
Administer and monitor contrast media safely and in accordance with protocols.
Start peripheral IVs perform venipuncture and maintain IV access for contrast studies.
Adhere to infection control isolation precautions and radiation safety guidelines.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare staff to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.
Document and maintain accurate patient records in Epic charting system.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent CT Tech experience (first-time travelers accepted).
Environment Exposure: Teaching hospital experience required; community LTAC and trauma experience preferred.
Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends.
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off up to once per pay period (every two weeks).
RTO: Must be declared at submission.
Pending License: Not accepted.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
Experience:
At least 1 year of recent CT imaging experience.
Experience in adult acute care pediatric acute care outpatient and ED settings preferred.
License:
Active state license (CA state license required).
ARRT (R) required.
Fluoroscopy Permit required.
Pending licenses not accepted.
Certifications (Required):
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ARRT (CT) preferred if available
Skills:
Image Display & Post Processing: Multiplanar reconstruction 3D rendering ROI measurement.
Anatomical Imaging: Abdomen pelvis head spine chest MSK trauma vascular.
Special Procedures: Biopsies aspirations colonography CT arthrography coronary CTA (preferred).
Professional Knowledge: Radiation safety infection control IV contrast administration.
Equipment: Siemens CT systems.
Additional Skills: X-Ray proficiency a plus.
