Job Summary:
This is a 16-week contract position for an X-Ray Technologist with the possibility of extension into January. The role requires performing portable x-rays routine x-ray exams operating C-arm equipment in surgery and assisting with fluoroscopy. The technologist will work a set schedule with on-call responsibilities.
Location: Oregon City Oregon United States.
Responsibilities:
- Performing portable x-rays.
- Conducting routine x-ray exams.
- Operating C-arm x-ray equipment during surgical procedures.
- Assisting with fluoroscopy (limited capacity).
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current certification as an X-Ray Technologist.
- Proficiency in portable x-ray routine x-ray and C-arm operation.
- Experience with fluoroscopy (preferred but not required based on limited capacity).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Prior experience in a short-term acute care setting.
Special Considerations:
- 16-week contract with potential extension until January.
- Weekend work required (Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM).
- On-call responsibilities: 2-4 days per month.
- Block schedule required (Saturday-Tuesday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM).
- Must be comfortable performing procedures in various hospital units.
Scheduling:
- Set schedule: Saturday-Tuesday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
- On-call: 2-4 nights per month.
- Block scheduling.
