Job Description

Mammography Tech - 5/8s DAYS - 2Yrs - No 1st Timers Shift: 5x8 Days Mon-Fri Variable Shift: Mon and Fri 08:00-16:30 and Tue-Wed-Thu 09:00-17:30 and rotating Saturdays (typically every 6th) Open to accommodating block schedule Yes Monday-Friday Weekend REQ: Typically every 6th Saturday Is on-call REQ No Years of Experience: 2 Years Unit DOES NOT Accept First Time Travelers Certifications: (does not accept pending licenses) BLS ARRT Illinois IEMA Mammography Department Details: In mammography we perform outpatient screening and diagnostic exams as well as bone density. We preform stereotactic and US bx and magseed and wire loc placement. Post clip placements are included in these procedures. Tech will not be required to learn BXs or localization exams but should be comfortable with post clip exams. Work Setting Experience: Inpatient Community Hospital Skills: Biopsies Stereotactic Biopsies Needle Localizations Fine Needle Aspirations Post Clip Dexa - Tech will not be required to learn BXs or localization exams RTO Restrictions: Finalized RTO must be included with submission. No RTO within first week of start date. No more than 10 days of RTO per assignment. Scrubs: Black (Pink Tops OK)
