Job Description
Required Skills :
- Strong Snowflake skills
- Ideally strong Azure cloud experience but will take strong AWS or GCP
- Experience working with a Data Science team
- Worked on On Prem to Cloud
- Strong with Data build Tool (DBT)
- Strong with Apache Airflow
This role is 60% engineering and 40% management. Looking for someone who has led a team at least. This person will help answer questions with the offshore resources must be able to pitch in as well even if they have to write or develop some of the code as well
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in data engineering or data warehousing environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Snowflake (data modeling optimization performance tuning) DBT (Data Build Tool) for transformation and data testing and Apache Airflow
- Azure Data Factory / Azure DevOps Pipelines for CI/CD and data integration
- Working knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter and experience in transitioning ETL workloads from legacy tools.
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g. Azure AWS or GCP) and data lake architecture.
Exposure to big data tools (Spark Kafka Delta Lake) and predictive analytics workflows.
Working experience with Data science team.
Familiarity with CI/CD and version control (Git Azure Repos etc.).
Prior experience with Adobe Campaign or other digital marketing platforms is a plus.
