Laundry Assistant. Oak Springs Care Home
- Salary: £12.26 per hour
- Contract: 30 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: 8am-4pm 4 x days per week including weekend working as part of a rolling rota
Join our exceptional team at Oak Springs Care Home in Wavertree a luxurious purpose-built residential care home. At Oak Springs we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of residential respite and dementia care for older people.
Our stunning 74-bed home is thoughtfully designed across three floors with state-of-the-art facilities including music rooms a beauty salon cozy lounges and serene courtyard spaces. As a Laundry Assistant at our home your role may involve:
- Undertaking any necessary training
- Loading Industrial sized Washers and Dryers
- Operating steamers
- Carry out laundry duties-training will be provided
- Maintaining high standards within the care home environment
- Working flexibly as part of a team to ensure our residents' needs are met

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.
What are we looking for
Applicants should be strong team-players with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work. Furthermore post-holders must be able to demonstrate previous experience of undertaking cleaning and laundry gained either in work or domestic environments.
